Credit cards will be charged the week of the event.
We reserve the right to charge cards early for individuals who have had card issues in the past.
■Online registration runs until 5:00pm CDT on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
■Online registration received at least seven days before the event will receive a discount.
■In-person Post-Entry registrations will be accepted at the event, at an additional cost.

D. Minor Insurance Requirements
▶All minors competing in Dairyland Classic must have one of the following with them when they complete their day-of-race registration:
■Have both parents must be present at registration to sign the insurance release form
OR
■The absent parent must have signed AND NOTARIZED the Minor Release Form.
The parent who attends the event must submit the completed form - signed and notarized - to the registration personnel.
For insurance reasons, there are NO EXCEPTIONS.
E. Event Format (per class)
▶Two Practice sessons
▶One qualifying session
▶Heat Races (these may be two-row starts)
▶A-Finals (the 1-12 seeds from the heat races)
▶B-Finals (the 13-24 seeds from the heat races)
▶C-Finals (the 25-36 seeds from the heat races)
▶No semis, no LCQs.
F. Transponders
▶We use Westhold G3 transponders for scoring and live timing.
▶If you do not have your own Westhold G3 transponder, you will need to rent one from us. Fees are listed under the class listings below.
▶Living Timing and Scoring can be found at https://www.myracepass.com/.
▶You will need to purchase a subscription at myracepass in order to view live timing and scoring.
▶You do not need a subscription to compete in the Dairyland Classic.
▶You do not need a subscription to view entry lists and race results in the app.
G. Jim Sumner Memorial Dash For Cash
▶Select participants in the Pro-Am Invitational class will be invited to participate in this race,
which uses an inverted start (slowest qualifier at the front; fastest at the rear), in honor of our brother, Jim, who was
National #45 when he died at the Springfield Mile on May 26, 2002.
▶Fastest qualifiers (method of qualifying to be announced at the rider's meeting) on each different brand/configuration of engine will be invited to compete.
H. Competition Classes
▶All competitors must have a current membership and must be in good standing.
▶Go Pro Cameras: Per AMA rules, cameras and other accessories cannot be mounted onto the helmet.
▶All machines must be full sized - no pit bikes, no minibikes. 53" minimum wheelbase and 17" minimum wheel size.
▶E-Bikes are not allowed in any classes.

1. Pro-Am Invitational Class
This is our premier class for professionally-licensed racers and those select few who have earned their way in.
▶Age:
■Must be at least 16 years of age on the day of the event if you have a current AFT license.
■Must be at least 17 years of age on the day of the event to ride a twin-cyinder motorcycle.
▶Eligibility:
If you do not comply with one of the following criteria, there is a very good chance that you will not be racing in this class.
■2026 American Flat Track license holders:
●all current AFT-license holders are invited to participate in our premier class
●must show their AFT hard card to validate their invitation.
●Regardless of AFT points earned over the past two seasons, current AFT license holders must compete in this class and no others.
■Recent Participants in our Pro-Am Invitational class:
●we know who you are, and we appreciate your support of our event!
●If you have an AFT credential, please bring it to avoid confusion at sign-up.
●If you register online, or coordinate with the promoter ahead of time, everything will go smoother.
■Recent winners of the Dairyland Classic 450cc Amateur class:
●must coordinate with promoter before the day of the event to validate your invitation
●may choose to race in this class or in any other classes; but not both.
▶Exclusions: Pro-Am Invitational participants are not allowed to compete in any other class.
▶Fees:
■Entry Fee: $80
■Transponder rental fee is $20 each.

2. Hooligan (18+)
Street Motorcycles that have been modified for flat track competition.
▶Age: All Hooligan entries must be at least 18 years of age on the day of the event.
▶Exclusions: Current AFT license holders are not allowed to compete in this class.
▶Fees:
■Entry Fee: $50.
■Transponder rental fee is $20 each.

Machines must comply with all standard AMA rules and requirements.
A. Hooligan Engines
1. Production, street-legal (DOT) engines are required.
a. Must have originated with a minimum 649cc displacement twin-cylinder engine.
b. Model year must be no earlier than 1986.
2. Engine and frame must be manufactured for each other.
B. Hooligan Frames
1. Stock, Production, street-legal (DOT) frames are required.
2. Engine and frame must be manufactured for each other.
3. Any geometry changes made to the frame must be bolt-on modifications.
C. Hooligan Tires
1. Only 19” Flat Track racing tires or 17” wet/rain racing tires are permitted.

3. 250cc Amateur (12+)

5. Vintage (30+)
Age: All Vintage entries must be at least 30 years of age on the day of the event.

■Must be 250cc-750cc engines approved for Class C competition from 1933-1988.
■A functional rear brake is required on all machines. A compression release does not qualify as a brake.

6. Brakeless (30+)

■Must be 250cc-500cc overhead valve, 250cc-500cc two-stroke, or 250cc-750cc flat head engines approved for Class C competition from 1933-1969.
■No brakes are allowed. A compression release does not qualify as a brake.
■Note: this is NOT the AMA District 16 'Classic Brakeless' class.
